Here we see a re-roof in full swing, note the sheeted main roof whilst the job is in progress to protect the building, even though at this stage that portion of roof was undercloaked and lathed.

Even though a thorough job is done to every roof we work on, unexpected faults can occur.

XVI-I-MM. This chimney failed as a result of a build up of unburned volatile gases, which then after ignition expanded rapidly

which resulted in a few bricks being dislodged. (Note the upsidedown pot still on the roof).

The operative seen here holds his head in dismay at the sight of his earlier handy-work being totaly obliterated. Well at least he knows what it used to look like and will soon again!
